I just want to say that before I heard these songs. I didn't know some of these great singers. And ever since I heard these legendary singers, I have become more and more fan of the oldies. These singers will live on and on the more you and others listen to them. And even the people that aren't on this album. From as early as frank Sinatra and dean Martin and Nat King Cole. And of course the kind of rock and roll- Elvis.

It's okay to sing but, please just do covers of the songs or don't sing at all. It's also creepy AF. I bet the original artists of these songs are turning over in their graves listening to the absolutely awful duets. I never knew there could be anything as bad as these duets.

Or hate it? At least it should be listened to and talked about. Manilow is a great artist. Just because some like to keep every great work of art sequestered and unscathed in a vault doesn't mean the rest of should be denied the opportunity to experience something new. This is a lovely melding of past and present.

A little creepy, enjoyable, creative, innovative, & Dream Duets. I guess those of us that like duets are torn as we wish that the duets were done for real. However these are iconic personalities who we like and the singers are singing well loved songs. If I didn't know this was manipulated by technology I might say this is my fourth or fifth best Duets album behind Frank Sinatra's Duets & Barbra Streisand's Duets & Partners. My favorite selections are I Believe In You & Me with Whitney Houston, What A WonderFul World with "Satchmo" Louie Armstrong, Dream A Little Dream with Mamma Cass, The Look Of Love with Dusty Springfield, & Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart with Judy Garland.

I've purchased every release Barry has put out. I've made it through the decades series and was happy that it was just some kind of trend. I loved Christmas just around the corner and hoped that somewhere down the road he would return to more of what his friends like to hear from him. Sadly my dream duets came out instead. I've had enough. I didn't even bother buying it. Sorry Barry. Some friend you turned out to be.

    There’s only one word to describe this… a disgrace… ‘nuff said. :(
  • GREAT SONGS EXCEPT FOR THE INTRUSION

These remixes aren't bad except for the vocal intrusions, which are a little like listening to a member of the audience singing along during a concert. Did Barry Manilow really believe he could add something to, say, St. Dusty Springfield's "Look of Love"? Really? Die hard Manilow fans have obviously stopped watching "American Idol" long enough to "love" this CD. For the rest of us, we cannot imagine what he was thinking of.
